Camp Discovery Summer 2011
Packing off to camp each summer is a time honoured tradition. However, due to financial barriers, most of the children and youth that attend Boys & Girls Clubs of Edmonton are not able to attend camp. Boys & Girls Clubs of Edmonton believes that all children, regardless of their socio-economic background, deserve a summer camp experience.
This past summer (2010) 142 children and youth and 8 Leaders-in-Training enjoyed fun in the sun (and rain) and a camping experience full of fond memories and all the benefits that this out-of-doors adventure has to offer.
