Welcome to Camp Discovery! Come July and August, 300 children and teens get to spend a fun-filled week meeting new friends, exploring nature, and experiencing leadership and cultural awareness activities that will make fond memories for years to come. This experience comes free of charge to the children and teens who attend our Clubs because Boys & Girls Clubs of Edmonton believes everyone deserves a summer camp experience regardless of their socio-economic background.
We’ve been able to achieve this through the support of our donors and the help of various organizations and local businesses such as James Hardie Building Products, Broadleaf Logistics, Greater Canadian Roofing Corporation, and Contemporary Office Design. Also, we could not have opened Camp Discovery without extensive renovations and significant gifts of financial and human resources provided by Home Depot, the Kin Club of Fort Edmonton, Broadport Canada, and many others.
