West Edmonton Boys & Girls Club is located on 16030 - 104 Avenue and runs a variety of energy filled programs for children and youth ages 6-17. The kids can participate in programs such as Young Chefs, Aboriginal sharing circle, basketball, floor hockey and many more. West Edmonton Club is a large club, serving from 80 – 100 children and youth every night.
Teenagers at West Edmonton Club spend a lot of time in their teen room playing Playstation or practicing their moves on the break dancing floor. Kids 11 and under also have their own room which contains various games, a Playstation, and a crafts area.
One of the parents said to the West Club Coordinator: "We decided to send our child to Britannia junior high because of boys and girls club being next door."
